What can you build?

  • Search product names and brands with a text query.
  • Narrow results to an exact brand or ingredient name or synonym.
  • Retrieve a product by ID with its stored ingredient list.
  • Read category, application area, stored product traits and key-ingredient tags.

What does an integration look like?

First search for candidates, then retrieve the selected product. Omit authorization to try it, or use your Bearer API key for full access. The live OpenAPI document defines the complete response contract. Published JavaScript and Python SDKs 1.0.0 support the same search and lookup operations; see the SDK examples.

With an API key, the credit unit is one non-empty search page or one successful product lookup. Empty search pages and missing products are not charged. Search pagination is bounded and is not a bulk database export.

What should you verify before launch?

Test the brands, markets and products your users actually need. Product records can be incomplete or differ from the current packaging. An empty ingredient list means the data is missing. Stored trait tags are derived metadata, not independently verified safety or efficacy claims.

Images, copied product descriptions, live prices, comprehensive barcode coverage and individualized safety predictions are not included in product responses. Tell us which fields and usage rights your application requires.

Already have the INCI list?

Use the existing ingredient lookup and batch analysis API. You can evaluate it with the same API key and credit balance.
